It’s not a grinding sound from the gear box but a grinding sound coming from near the clutch/firewall. I always granny 1-2, that grind will get you if you don’t do it perfectly. Shift from 1-2 early as fuck and you can avoid this. Basically if you are revving it high you have to time it right to get a smooth shift.
The Honda Civic is a fairly fast car. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just under seven seconds. That is still very fast for a car that gets great gas mileage. Depending on the model and trim that you choose, the Civic can be even faster. For example, the Type R model can go from 0 to 60 mph in just under five seconds.
On the other hand, the only thing the 2020 Honda Civic Type R Touring and the 2021 Toyota GR Supra 2.0 really have in common is turbocharged four-cylinder power. But rivalries aren't about logic.
