Ford Models. Ford Focus Club. Pollen Filter Housing. I'm posting via my phone and my other thread is not showing up so my apologies. Basically I changed my pollen filter and bought 2 new clips and seal and 2 seals later the housing/plastic filter cover will not stay down, this time the right hand side closet the passenger seat has pried up.I replaced the pollen filter and the leak came back. I have pulled up the carpet in the back this morning and discovered that there is a hole in the drainage cap in the footwell. This matches a similar sized hole on the underneath of the car in the same place on the cap. Where is the pollen filter located on a ford mondeo mk 3. up underneath the passenger side dash is the most common , 1998 f250 cabin air filter location.
Removed glove box, changed pollen filter. Reseated all connectors I could find under there (hoping one is the evaporator sensor one forum post mentioned as a possible cause). I should mention too that my speedo works, so I assume the car knows when it is stationary/slow.
Posted March 14, 2009. Its located under the scuttle panel on the passenger side of the car. Prise out the cover on the scuttle panel near the wiper, remove the screw. Open the bonnet and gently prise the clips out and lift the scuttle panel out. The pollen filter is underneath. Pull a couple of obvious clips to the side and lift the old filter
